My Dad died from Asbestos exposure and was just 60 years old. I remember the draining of the fluid, weight loss and my fear of him dying but never once did he show he was scared.

I don't know about everyone else but every time I watch this advert I burst into tears.brilliant charity keep up the extraordinary work.

If I'm going to be in pain in the last days I'm organising a day for leaving before that. Won't be rolling around a bed screaming and traumatising anyone who's there.

I've only just seen this on TV, but it's moved me to tears, the Sikh gentleman reminded me so much of my Dad who died 14 years ago of cancer. Thinking of all those who are dealing with cancer, either themselves or their friends or family. 💜

Let’s not just focus on Marie curie - let’s celebrate all the nurses and support workers who work with dying people and people with long term illnesses - I’m a support worker in a brain injury unit and we support people with long term illnesses and we see it through to the end with them - recently I lost a lady from leukaemia- I was there with her in her final moments - holding her hand - just me and her 😢 I had supported her for three years - so let’s celebrate our nurses and care workers 👍👍👍

My daughter had stage 4 medulloblastoma she died on the 28 September 2023 I was holding her hand when she passed I fell asleep. Next to her until she got picked up.😢😢

I saw this on TV the other day. As soon as I saw the Mum searching “How do I tell my Son I’m dying?” I was gone. Howling. Watched this over and over. Listened to the full song. It’s heart wrenching. I lost my Mum to Cancer in April. We were so close. It still hurts every single day. I miss her every single day. Nobody was there for her until the end but me, though. The amount of calls I made trying to get help.

Can’t quite believe I just watched this WHOLE video at 4am TWO YEARS after it aired! Damn those Tennants are adorable. 🫡👌
